This course is for students who want to develop skills at high level in all areas of the English language and to learn strategies for achieving a high IELTS test score

Course modules

These classes provide clear and practical information on the IELTS examination, as well as step by step guidance with each task type.

Students are prepared for the test by exposing them to the types of texts and tasks that are required in the IELTS test, as well as the level and style of language used in the test.  In addition, it prepares students for their studies at university by introducing them to the types of communication tasks which are likely to be met in an English speaking study environment.

English Summer Camp​

The English Summer Camp aims to help national students learn and develop essential English skills including speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary and pronunciation for everyday use.​

Curriculum

Speaking

  • Conversational English for everyday use
  • Focuses on pronunciation, fluency and accuracy

Writing

  • Be exposed to different types of writing: letters, emails, stories and short essays
  • Develop writing skills such as accuracy, organisation and functional language

Listening

  • Develop and adopt various techniques to aid comprehension

Reading

  • Improve on reading speed, understanding larger texts on a variety of subjects
  • Identifying different styles of text

Vocabulary

  • Functional language for everyday conversations and situations

Pronunciation

  • Develop their pronunciation of individual sounds, intonation, rhythm and stress
